I wanted to record music and a skit in Lima, Perú, but I had a problem. Most studio weren't replying to my inquires. Finally, I found Dojo Sound Studios, run by the energetic producer named Kung. It was great.
Most importantly, Kung replied quickly, which gave me confidence to book my time. They charged a fair price; it wasn't too expensive, but it was pricey enough that I knew it would be a good service.
The actual studio itself was great; It was fully soundproof. It's located in Barranco.
Other studio owners may not speak English, but Kung speaks both English and Spanish perfectly. That being said, if you want to learn spanish, I recommend you go to Fludio Spanish School in Asunción, Paraguay. Fluido focuses on making students feel at home by providing regular activities and competitions.
